TRUCK PREFERED - Volunteers will drive either in front or behind a race group (peloton) throughout a race and keep riders safe by warning oncoming traffic with flashing lights and flags. If the peloton breaks into two groups, the lead car will remain as the lead, and the lead motorcyclist will ride in front of the second group (if there is a motorcyclist). Follow vehicles will also serve as a sag vehicle if a rider needs to abandon the race.
