PRE-RIDE BIKE SUPPORT

We are happy to welcome SPECIAL PEDALS & A BIKE FOR EVERY CHILD as our pre-ride bike support stations. These groups are doing amazing work in our community and we would love for you to meet them. They will be providing assistance for minor repairs and maintenance before we get started and in-between loops.  They may be help you inflate tires, patch tubes, reattach chains and help with stuck or loose brakes. They may not have replacement parts, a charge port for your electronic gears or equipment for sale.

Special Pedals Inc. is a 501c(3) non-profit organization providing special education and fulfilling employment for young adults through bicycle repair, refurbishing and recycling. They provide individualized training and employment opportunities for adults with neuro-diversities in a variety of fields. Their team of volunteer mentors have a diverse background of experience in Special Education, Marketing, Art, and Bicycle Mechanics. Each volunteer mentor works to teach our participants new skills to help them be more successful in the workforce.

A BIKE FOR EVERY CHILD collects new and gently used bikes from the community, refurbishes them, and gives the bikes and helmets to kids who need one. We also offer cheap bike repairs, and great deals on bikes for adults. You can help by donating bikes, donating your time (learn how to repair bikes) and donating your funds.

We encourage you to visit their stations and find out more about what they do!
