All no-show registered participants will have the opportunity to pick-up their Race Packet from Firecracker approximately 30 days after the event. Medals will not be given out to those who did not complete the event. Please look for an email notification, check our website or Facebook for more information, or complete Registration Question Form .
3. Will there be refreshments at the Finish Line?
Yes, there will be refreshments and drinks for all registered participants (must present race bib). In addition, there may be booth vendors and beverage samples.
4. Are strollers and wheelchairs allowed?
Strollers and wheelchairs are permitted. However, please be advised that some of the terrain is difficult and has challenging elevation changes. For the safety of all participants, strollers and wheelchairs should not start near the front of the event where there are quick runners but instead keep to the right to avoid blocking foot traffic.
5. Can I walk the event?
Yes, the 5K FUN RUN/WALK was created for walkers and leisurely runners and is not timed. Be sure to sign up for the 5K FUN RUN/WALK (Non-Timed) which is a different event than the 5K RUN (Timed).
6. Are pets allowed on the run course?
Running or walking with pets is permitted. However, for safety reasons, Firecracker requests that all participants with pets register for the 5K FUN RUN/WALK (Non-Timed) which is a separate event from the 5K RUN. Runners with pets should try to start at the end of the pack. Pets must be on a leash that is less than 4 feet in length and never left alone. Participants who bring their pets are responsible and liable for any of the pet's actions or aggressions.
Please ensure that your dog is up for the run. The 10K course is a challenging uphill run. The 5K course also includes hills. Ensure that your pet partner is well hydrated and not over stressed during the run. Better yet, register your dog for the PAW’er DOG WALK!
