FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

CAN SOMEONE ELSE PICK-UP MY PACKET? 

Yes. Someone else can pick up your packet. In order to add some form of security, we ask that you please forward your race confirmation email or a photo of your driver's license to show our volunteers at Packet Pick-Up.

CAN I WALK INSTEAD OF RUN? 

Yes! Even though this is a timed event, we welcome all runners and walkers! However, if you are planning to walk we do ask that you start toward the back.

IS THERE A CUT-OFF TIME? 

Yes, the roads do need to be re-opened by 11:00 AM so both the 5K and half marathon will have a cut off time of 11:00 AM.

CAN I SIGN UP THE DAY OF? 

No, there is no race morning registration. 

CAN I PICK UP MY RACE PACKET ON RACE MORNING? 

You have the option to pick up your race packet on the morning of the event by purchasing Will Call Packet Pick-Up for $30 during registration.

Important Note: If you arrive on race morning without having purchased Will Call, you will be charged $30 on-site to collect your packet. Make sure to take advantage of this option during registration to save time and avoid extra fees!

 

ARE HEADPHONES ALLOWED? 

Yes, but please be mindful of those around you and make sure you are able to hear any emergency announcements.

WILL THERE BE GEAR CHECK? 

Yes, we will be offering gear check.

ARE DOGS ALLOWED? 

Yes! Please be mindful of those around you, make sure they are comfortable in large crowds, and try not to get in the way of other runners.

CAN WE BRING STROLLERS OR BABY JOGGERS? 

Sure! But we do ask that you start toward the back so as not to impede the other runners

WHAT IS THE AWARD POLICY? 

Race Day Events will hold event awards for 30 days after the event is complete.

Contact us at raceday@racedayevents.com for more information about receiving your awards after the event.

*Please note that we charge a $10 shipping fee for any participant wishing to have their award mailed after the event is complete.

How do I sign up for event insurance? Add-on coverage is offered during the checkout process when signing up for this event. You will be given the option to add or decline coverage with one click. Note: If you decide to decline coverage, you will not be able to go back and add it after registering.

WHERE DO I PICK-UP MY MERCHANDISE?

Pre-Purchased Merchandise


If you pre-purchased merchandise, you can pick it up during early packet pick-up hours as well as at the event in the packet pick-up tent located outside the front of the Memorial Union.

*Any pre-purchased merchandise not picked up at the event will be available for pickup for 30 days after the event. Contact us at raceday@racedayevents.com for more information

Didn’t Pre-Purchase?


No problem! Merchandise will be available for sale during early packet pick-up and all day at the event at the packet pick-up tent right outside the front of the Memorial Union. Be sure to stop by and grab your gear!
