Race Day General Information
Welcome to the 15th Annual LOOP for Literacy
We look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday morning, February 8,
at Bryant Park in Lake Worth Beach!
Below is additional information about the event:
Registration and packet pick-up will begin at 6:00 a.m. at Bryant Park, under the covered walkway.
7:00 a.m. -- The 24-mile Roadside Ride begins from the AccuChip inflatable start line.
***Cyclists are required to wear a helmet for the roadside ride***
7:40 a.m. -- Orangetheory will lead a warm-up for the 5K on the stage.
8:00 a.m. -- 5K Run begins from the AccuChip inflatable start line
8:05 a.m. -- 5K Walk begins from the AccuChip inflatable start line
8:45 a.m. -- Kids One-Mile Fun Run begins -- Participants will line up at the yellow gate at the end of Golfview Road, South of the AccuChip inflatable start line and run through the park and back along the Intercoastal walkway and to the inflatable finish line.
9:00 a.m. -- The Kids 100-Yard-Dash begins -- Participants will line up at the yellow gate at the end of Golfview Road, South of the AccuChip inflatable start line, and run to and through the inflatable finish line.
9:30 a.m. -- Awards and prizes will be awarded on the stage. Refreshments will be available under the covered walkway.

• Awards and prizes will be presented on the stage after the races on the park stage:
1st, 2nd and 3rd place Overall Male and Female winners
1st place Male and Female over 50 winners
1st place winners of the Kids1-Mile Fun Run and Kids 100-Yard Dash
Top Individual and Top Team Fundraiser
• Chick-fil-A will have chicken biscuits available for the first 350 (first come, first serve) in the park around 8:30 a.m., and additional refreshments will be available under the covered walkway.
• All participants will receive a custom-designed, book-themed finisher medal.
• All participants will receive a $10 gift certificate to Park Avenue BBQ Grille.
• Field Day Activities will be in the park for children to enjoy.
• Every registered child will receive a book to take home and read.
