2025 Run Iron Mountain Half Marathon | 1OK | 5K | 1 Mile Fun Run

It is important to our race board that proceeds from the race are used to support local families in need.  For the past eleven years, Run Iron Mountain has donated proceeds from the race to the Dickinson County Cancer Loan Closet (DCCLC). The DCCLC is a non-profit organization operated by volunteers that assists both cancer and non-cancer patients.  The Loan Closet offers medical equipment at no cost, as well as financial assistance to those in need.  Over the past eleven years, Run Iron Mountain has raised over $165,000 for the DCCLC.

As a race board, we recognize that many nonprofits in our community have made and continue to make a significant impact. For this reason, our board decided to donate a portion (over $11,000) of the 2023 race proceeds to the Northwoods AirLifeline. Northwoods AirLifeline is a non-profit organization of volunteer pilots from Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and northeast Wisconsin who donate their time and aircraft to help patients and their families with urgent medical needs for services not found locally. Since its founding in 1989, over 2000 missions have been flown.

Our race board will also continue to support local graduating seniors by offering one $1,000 scholarship.

Your donation will go toward supporting our local community.
