OKTOBERFEST TICKETS ARE SOLD OUT
Start / Finish:
The starting line is the crosswalk at Sherman Ave. and 2nd Street. Our finish line will be at Independence Point and Northwest Boulevard close to the clock tower.
Packet Pickup:
Packet pick-up will be located inside the Plaza Shops, 210 Sherman Avenue from 3:00PM - 7:00PM on Friday, Sep 15, 2023. There will be a limited packet pick-up available on race morning between 6:00AM - 7:00AM on the front lawn in front of the Coeur d'Alene Resort (this is primarily available for those individuals with last minute travel changes).
Start Times / Schedule:
- 6:00 - 7:30am bag drop and gear check open
- Bags will be available at Finish and Harrison
- 7:00 - 7:30am cruise boat boarding
- 7:30am FONDO START IN CDA (gran, medio, piccolo, family)
- 7:45am cruise boats depart CDA centro riders (1.5 - 2 hour ride)
- 8:30am gear bags available in Harrison
- 9:30am boats arrive in Harrison
- 10:00am CENTRO RIDER START (Harrison)
- 11:00am - 11:30am Mish-an-Nock boat departs from Harrison when at least half full (first boat)
- 12:00pm Spirit boat departs from Harrison (last boat)
- All Piccolo riders must be to Harrison or you will miss the boat back.
- 1:00pm Mish-an-Nock boat returns to CDA
- 2:30pm Spirit boat returns to CDA
- 4:00pm bag drop bags returned to CDA Fondo tent on the front lawn of the Coeur d'Alene Resort.
- 4:00pm - 6:00pm bag drop bags must be picked up or items will be thrown away
- 6:00pm course closed, bike corral closed
PICCOLO, CENTRO, AND MEDIO RIDERS MUST MAINTAIN A 10MPH AVERAGE. GRAN FONDO RIDERS MUST MAINTAIN A 12MPH AVERAGE. SLOWER RIDERS WILL BE LEFT ON THEIR OWN UNSUPPORTED OR PULLED FROM THE COURSE.

Bib Numbers & Timing:
You will be given a seat post sticker with your bib number and timing chip attached. It must be affixed to the seat post as indicated below for accurate timing. If you do not attach your timing chip properly to your bike, you will not get a time.
Riders will also be given a bib. This must be worn on the rider and be visible at all times. There will be tear tags on the bottom to use for your finisher food and gear/equipment if you left it on boat. Please do not lose these as this is your only way to access the food. If you purchased an Oktoberfest ticket you must pick-up your beer glass , sampling tickets and wristband after the race at the desigated table at the venue or in the Plaza Shops.
Gear Bags, Special Needs Bags & Bike Check:
There will be gear check and special needs bag check available for Gran, Medio, Centro and Piccolo riders before the race. In an effort to reduce waste, please bring your own reusable or plastic bag for gear check items. Be sure to mark your bag or the provided tyvek bag tag with your race number in permanent marker. Bike check will be available after the race for the enjoyment of post race festivities. There will be volunteers watching the bikes and you must have your race number to get in and out of the corral.
- Gear check will be available at information tent in the athlete village on the front lawn of the CDA Resort lawn from 6:00am - 7:30am. Gear check is for any items you wish to check in and not get back until the end of the event (change of dry clothes, etc.)
- Special Needs bag check will be from 6:00am-7:30am race morning in the same location by the information tent on the front lawn of the CDA Resort near the race start. The special needs bag truck will be leaving promptly at 7:30am. If your bag is late, it will not get on the truck. The special needs bags will all be delivered to the Harrison Aid station stop. Athletes will have access to these bags any of the times they ride through Harrison.
- Leftover special needs bags from the course will be ready for pick up from 4:00pm-6:00pm back at the information tent on the CDA Resort front lawn. Any bags not picked up before 6pm will be thrown away.
- Bike Corral will close at 6pm. Please pick-up your bike before 6pm.

Parking:
Parking will be available at the Coeur d’Alene Resort parking garage and McEuen Park for a fee. Free parking is available downtown and on residential streets near the start / finish.
Virtual Riders:
Virtual riders will be able to complete their ride from 9/16-9/18 and submit their results online. Riders can pick up their packets at packet pickup or will be shipped following the live race.

After Party
Celebrate your finish. Riders will get a post race meal and enjoy the booths / exhibitors in CDA. We are also excited to be partnering with Oktoberfest for our 2023 race! COVID-19 PROTOCOLS
At this time there are no requirements for face masks, vaccination, or covid testing for this event. We will follow current local, state, and CDC guidance at the time of the event.
