RIDE DESCRIPTION

Experience the thrill of the Dairyland Dare, set in the breathtaking hills of southwest Wisconsin! The land untouched by glacial flattening during the last ice age, Dairyland Dare offers some of the most extreme hills in the Midwest. The area is characterized by steep, forested ridges, and deeply carved river valleys. 

Choose your challenge: 50K, 100K, 150K, or 200K. We welcome road and tri-bikes alike. E-bikes are welcome as well, but must follow aid station rules.

Riders will climb through the historic streets of Mineral Point, WI and across the scenic countryside of Iowa County (WI) along their quest to cover from 50km to 200km before the sun goes down.

With an abundance of volunteers from around the community, our support is second to none. Rest stops are well staffed and very well stocked with more food and sports drink than you could possibly consume. On course support is ever present and mechanical support is provided at rest stops 3/4 and 6, and there is one roaming throughout the course.

• Experienced Mechanics On-Site and On Course: Skilled mechanics will be available to assist with any bike issues, providing peace of mind throughout your ride.
• SAG Vehicles Roaming the Route: Support and Gear (SAG) vehicles will patrol the course, ready to assist riders in need, whether for a mechanical issue or a lift back to the start.
• Fully Stocked Aid Stations: Enjoy a variety of snacks and refreshments—including pickles, beef jerky, fruit, and more—at our well-stocked aid stations to keep you energized and hydrated.
• Post-Ride Party: Celebrate your accomplishment at our lively post-ride party, featuring a hearty meal, refreshing beer and beverages, and music to enjoy with fellow riders!
