Description

VALOR  25 Challenge
VALOR 25 Challenge is a virtual challenge with a real life reward.  And a real life benefit to the foals at Last Chance Corral.  WARHORSE Endurance Challenges has chosen Last Chance Corral as the charity to benefit from this event.  From every entry,  $5.00 will go to help the nurse mare foals.  Victoria and her crew are doing what they do best, trying to save the lives of these foals, what we can do is take some time to run, walk, ride, hike or carriage drive 25 hours or 25 miles in their honor. You choose what works best for you, hours or miles.

What is Last Chance Corral all about?

Please watch this beautifully done video about the Last Chance Corral BORN TO DIE

Do I need a horse to do this challenge?  No, you don't.  You can walk, run, ride, hike with or without a horse/dog/family.  The medal challenge really comes down to what you want the challenge to mean to you.  I did one of the challenges last year with just my daughter. We did all the miles together just her and I, and now when I look at that medal not only do I see the cause we helped, I also remember all those miles together with her.   Just as significant, you could choose to do the miles solo and have it represent your dedication to getting out their and logging your miles.

Do I have to do all 25 miles all at once?  No, you can do a mile per day or any combination of days/miles to equal 25 miles.  Or if you or your horse are ready for it, maybe get a group of friends together and do a longer walk or ride as a group dedicated to this cause, then when you look at the medal you will see not only the many foals you have helped, you will also remember that ride/walk with your friend(s).

What is the VALOR 25 Challenge?  You choose to log either your hours working with your horse or miles.  We will send you a beautiful custom medal with the horse sized neck ribbon, an embroidered patch and a concho.

What counts for hours? Not chores! Unless you are volunteering for a rescue!

What does count for hours: Riding, ground driving, hiking, walking, running, biking or volunteering at a rescue.  Grooming, ground work, driving, riding and spook training etc. And for this particular challenge, I would like to highlight that hours volunteering at a rescue or a therapy riding facility.
