You will be wearing a costume to entertain the kids during the kids (and adults) race and possibly after. Last year we had people in an inflatable dinosaur and bear costume.

Bounce House/Kids Area Attendant High Priority

You will be monitoring the bounce house to ensure kids play respectfully and not too many kids are in at one time.

Friday Registration & Packet Pickup High Priority

Located at the Downtown Ironwood City Square during Ironwood's First Friday. You will provide race information, help people register for the race, and hand out race packets.

Top of Hill Course Marshal High Priority

Details

You will keep racers and Adventure Ride visitors safe by directing people on the course and will communicate with the start finish line of status at the top of the hill. You will be provided a ride or will be allowed to drive to the top.

Road Crossing Course Marshal High Priority

Details

You will staff the road crossing during the XC Race and Trail Run. You will be stationed on Copper Peak Road north of the ski jump and stop any traffic going through when racers are crossing.

Enduro Timers High Priority

Course Sweep High Priority

Details

You will be responsible for riding the course to ensure the last rider has finished the race and is off of the coure and report back to the finish line.

Professional

Stage Audio Technician High Priority

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

You will run audio for the PA system on the stage use for announcing the Trail Run and XC Race and for music during the afternoon and evening. Must have audio experience.

Medical Assistants

Details

You will help stabilize people or treat minor injuries during the races and in an emergency ensure they are prepared for emergency services. Must have some type of medical training, wilderness first aid training, ski patrol training, or similar.

Aid Stations

Finish Line Aid Station High Priority

Details

You will set up aid station tables, make sure there is water, gatorade and snacks stocked on the table during race time. Located at the start/finish line.

Upper Aid Station

You will set up aid station table, make sure there is water stocked on the table during race time. Located at near the top of Copper Peak. You will be provided a ride or allowed to ride to the top.
