Set Up Team Medium Priority

Details

To put it plainly, you help set up the start/finish-line area.
This area includes tents, tables, chairs, flags and the like. Don't fret, our team is there to help do the heavy lifting and guide the process.

If your an early morning person (typically 5 am) and love to serve, this could be right up your alley.

Registration Area High Priority

You must be 16-75 years old to volunteer for this task.

Details

Often times this is the first onsite contact a runner makes with each event. Making sure they are greeted with a kind word and smile helps set the pace for their overall experience. Yep...you're that powerful. :)

At the registration tent, you will typically serve two "types".
1. those needing to pick up their race packet
2. those seeking to register
Attention to detail in making sure forms are filled out completely and that they receive the correct items needed is imperative.

A GSGRP team member will be present to guide and answer any questions.

Aid Station Helper High Priority

You must be 18-75 years old to volunteer for this task.

Details

See yourself as a welcomed site in the eyes of the cyclist. One with a smile and food goodies to share. Your support makes sure each rider is hydrated and fed.

This critical position also serves the well being of each cyclist and as a great opportunity to encourage someone needing that extra boost.

Tasks may include helping set-up or take-down of the aid station.

Safety is always our number one priority. If at any time you recognize a potential safety concern, please let a GSGRP team member know. If the concern is health-related and/or if there is a health emergency...
a) FINISHLINE VOLS - report the issue immediately to the registration tent
b) ROUTE STATION VOLS - call Tim at (470) 251-2261 (NOTE: THIS NUMBER IS FOR EMERGENCY CALLS ONLY)

SAG Support Member High Priority

Details

You will be a welcomed sight as you encounter those experiencing fatigue or mechanical complications.

You will ride along as a helper to an appointed SAG driver.

SAG Support Driver High Priority

Details

You will be a welcomed sight as you encounter those experiencing fatigue or mechanical complications.

You will be asked to provide a truck & driver to offer transportation of 1 assigned SAG Support Member and desired riders.

SAG - Support And Gear

Tasks may also include driving supplies to aid station(s).
