Alert vehicles to the race in progress, ensure the safety of the runners, and guide them as they make the turn. This is where runners turn left and cross over to the other side of County Road 141. A sheriff deputy will be there to assist.

We'll give you an orange vest to make you look scary, and you walk around the church parking lot looking for people who are going to pee in the bushes instead of waiting in line for the toilets. Yes, this is a real job. The good folks at the church really don't want the runners peeing all over the place, and you and me are going to help them out.
