Shadow the Race Director – aka The Organized Chaos Coordinator Medium Priority

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

This is the ultimate position for anyone who wants a behind-the-scenes look at how the magic happens on race day.

You’ll follow the race director (yep, the one juggling radios, clipboards, and coffee) and jump in wherever needed—from checking on water stations to helping solve last-minute surprises

It’s a little bit of everything.
All the tasks are fun.
And yes, there will be organized chaos.
If you thrive in fast-paced energy and like being everywhere at once—this role is made for you!

10K Turn Volunteer Task Medium Priority

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

Location: Mile 3.10 – Just before the incline toward the cliffs (where the Half Marathon turn is)

We’ll have a 10K Turn sign posted, but we’d love to have one awesome volunteer (or two friends!) stationed here to make sure all 10K runners turn around at the correct spot.
Arrive at the 10K Turn location a few minutes before the race begins

Bring a camp chair, and good energy!

I’ll text you the number of 10K runners around 7:35 AM

As runners pass, count them to ensure everyone turns at the right place

Once you’ve seen the full 10K group pass, you're free to head back to base and enjoy the finish line fun!

I’ll be available via text if you need anything—and thank you so much for helping us keep the course smooth and on track!
