24-Mile George Washington Birthday Virtual Run, Walk, n’ Roll Challenge - Alexandria American Legion Post 24 (Draft)

This George Washington Birthday Commemorative event is intended to build community and enhance the physical, mental, and emotional resiliency of participants—veterans and non-veterans alike.  This month-long virtual event during February 2025 encourages participants to run, walk and/or roll on their own for at least 24 miles in increments and routes they choose. Additional details: 

• Registration Fee:  $24 per participant
• Registration Open:  Online only through February 22, 2025
• Participant Swag:  Completion certificate and a custom-designed George Washington Birthday commemorative coin
• Refund Policy:  Sorry, due to custom ordering of commemorative coins, we cannot issue refunds
• Charitable Contribution(s):  Event proceeds support veterans and youth programs conducted by the Alexandria American Legion Post 24, Inc.-- a tax-exempt veterans' organization under Internal Revenue Code section 501(c)(19); an optional donation in addition to your registration fee is most welcome
• Notes: (1) Finalized Bibs to be made available for download and printing no later than February 1, 2025; and (2) finalized completion certificates to be made available for download and printing after February 28, 2025.
