Helmets are Mandatory and other rules
Helmets are mandatory for the US Open. While the event does indeed take place on the sand, crashes can happen a good fitting helmet is important.
Provided race number plates will be necessary on each participants bicycle. The event will have RFID stickers on the race plates and this is how your lap times will be counted.
Only participants can pick up their own race packets. This allows the race director to ensure the racers get their numbers and sweet schwag.
