Description
For Fun and Glory!
Inspired by the awesomeness of Paris/Roubaix, but with a Texas Twist. 100+ mile, 100+ kilometer and 30ish mile options available. Mostly paved roads with about 25% gravel which almost all do-able with fat roadie tires (28s) and definitely do-able on CX 32′s (the accuracy of this statement is not guaranteed because who knows when 100 tons of new gravel might be dumped down by the County?).
Nope it’s not a mountain bike event but it is most definitely an endurance event when you throw in Texas rolling hills, heat and wind. Hard tail mountain bikes would be fine on the shorter routes but might get pretty heavy for the 100 miler.
Neutral feed zones will be available and support will be allowed. Support details will be posted later.
There are no purses or prizes, this run is purely for personal satisfaction and achievement. The course will be marked and all rules of the road apply at all times. Food, drink and fantastic memories available for all who push through the suffering.
We will be including the team challenge again for 2015. Most current details will always be on our Facebook page and website.
