2023 Mountain Bike Basics

Introducing MOUNTAIN BIKE BASICS at Odessa Mountain Bike Park!

This event is an educational centered opportunity for new, beginner, and intermediate trail riders. Over the course of one hour an instructor will provide detailed education on the basics of mountain bike riding (bike familiarization, bike handling, trail etiquette, safety, and more!) then provide a short tour through the Odessa Mountain Bike park. Helmets REQUIRED. 

Please feel free to stay a ride after the event!

Race Day Schedule: 

🚲 8:30am: Adult (16years+) Education Hour 

🚲 9:45am: Kid's (6years+) Education Hour

🚲 11:00am: Adults (16years+) Education Hour

Parking: Located behind Odessa Fire and Rescue Station #5

We cannot throw these races without you! Volunteering provides an opportunity to serve participants at aid stations, on the course with directions/support, with post race food and drinks, etc. Need community service hours? We are happy to accommodate you!
