Description

World Class Gravel, Texas Style! Club Spinistry members save 33%!

Long, Hard & Dirty has been at the core of Spinistry adventures from the very beginning. The 2010 Red River Riot was our very first Spinistry event and it was definitely long, hard & dirty. The 2022 edition will be longer, harder and dirtier than ever before. It definitely isn't made to be bound by rule books built around extra long cyclocross races without obstacles.

The 2022 Red River Riot long route will be our toughest Red River Riot ever. It won't be for everyone. 131 miles, almost 8000 feet of climbing, no midpoint bailout option this time around. It is ONE. BIG. LOOP. 75, 52 and 32 mile options available as well. They will be pretty tough too. The 75 miler will feel like a tough gravel century, the 52 will feel like a tough 100K. The 32 miler is a great introduction to Texas flat landers who have wondered what riding hills might be like.

All distances are timed but only the 75 and 131 mile options will have recognition for the top finishers. Finishing either of the longer routes will provide enough bragging rights for most mortals, finishing towards the top of the field will result in outright glory. This isn't about sprint finishes and bike throws, save that for your road racers. This will be won by grit and perseverance just like a gravel grinder should be. No license required.

We don't pay people to ride or race our events so you will know everyone you toe the line with will be there solely to take on this challenge for themselves and that is their sole reward. We're not worried about how many Instagram followers or YouTube subscribers folks have, we just need to know they want more adventure in their lives...because we've got your adventure right here!

Staging from the amazing property at 4R Ranch Vineyards and Winery. Spinistry Chow and a cool giveaway is included with every entry. On site camping is available by reservation and 4R offers fantastic wines and ciders. All routes will be marked but GPS backup is highly recommended. Neutral water tables will be available on all routes. The 75 and 131 mile routes also go by stores along the way. This will be a true backroads adventure and there will be times when no cell service is available.

Club Spinistry members save 33%, spots are limited. Signup today while you still have time to train up for it.

Aside from the neutral water tables this is considered a self supported event. Any rider who receives assistance from another person or stowed support will have their time and placement negated.

Here are the rules:
Have fun
Encourage others to have fun
Don't cheat
Don't be an azzhole
If you accept assistance from another person you forfeit your time
