Description
We are excited to once again be offering a fun weekend on Galveston island that will equip athletes to have a great 2018 season. This weekend will focus on athletes racing Ironman Texas and Ironman 70.3 Texas, but will benefit anyone racing this upcoming season. Multiple coaches will be at each event to offer personalized support and feedback. All skill levels are welcome and are encouraged to attend. There will be plenty of training opportunities and workouts can be altered to fit the needs of each individual athlete, but focus will be education and preparing athletes to train smart and execute a great race. Camp includes an open water swim, transition clinic, organized runs, and supported ride on the IMTX70.3 course. This year we are including the run form clinic at no additional charge! We have kept registration as low as possible and feel this camp delivers a huge amount of value. Space is limited and we do expect to reach capacity, so register soon to guarantee your spot. Camp will be held rain or shine with modifications made as possible.
The camp is sponsored by TriDot Triathlon Training and Austin Aquatics and Sports Academy and will be hosted by John Mayfield, TriDot's director of coaching services and Jeff Raines, AASA's director of triathlon among other qualified coaches. All coaches are well versed in all distances of racing and have extensive experience with IMTX70.3 and IMTX
