Knoxville Day Ride
Description
Pedal for Alzheimer's is pleased to manage multiple cycling events this year to spread awareness and raise funds for Alzheimer's research, education, support and care.
The third annual 1,098-mile bike ride fundraiser from Knoxville, TN to Daytona Beach, FL. will take place September 29-October 10, 2019. In addition to the select group of riders completing the entire ride, there are two 6-day ride options and a Day Ride in Knoxville for you to join us in spreading awareness and raising funds to fight Alzheimer's.
In Knoxville, Day Riders will join the 1098 Cyclists on for a 66, 51, 23 or 10-mile ride through the rolling hills and valleys of beautiful East Tennessee. Each route will end together to celebrate the beginning of Pedal for Alzheimer's and send off the 1098 Cyclists in style! The event will provide water and snacks at rest stops along with limited SAG support.
In addition to those events, Pedal for Alzheimer's is excited to partner with the Alzheimer's Association for two "The Longest Day" rides held in Knoxville, Tenn. and Salt Lake City, Utah on June 22, 2019.
Please register for the Day Ride or The Longest Day Rides. If you are interested in joining us for either the entire 1,098 miles, Purple Team or Orange Team, please contact the Event Directors at info@pedalforalzheimers.org as these events have significant requirements.
