Information - Kids now have an opportunity to join the race day fun and participate in their own marathon (26.2 miles). This is all about kids being active at a young age and enjoying every mile. They will set their own pace, keep track of their miles and accomplish a big goal!
The kids will set a weekly running goal with input from their parents, and will then keep track of 25 miles for 6-10 weeks leading up to the marathon race date. You can get the log sheet HERE On race day they will run their last 1.2 miles as a group on the race course. They will finish just like the other marathoners and receive a custom medal.

Race Day: Check-in at 9:30am to get your kids a race bib and T-shirt. Parents are welcome and encouraged to run/walk with their kids (Must sign a waiver at check-in). Kids that turn in their log sheet, will receive an official race certification of completion of 26.2 miles. After the race the kids with get a goodie bag with snacks.

Location - The start/finish line is located at the following coordinates: 46.2233, -119.14675. The start/finish area is located at the eastern end of Columbia Park in Kennewick, WA with a number of parking lots available within 1/2 mile walk. Columbia Park is easily accessed from the westbound lanes of Highway 240, and also from Columbia Park Trail coming either from the west or east
