Unity Chain
A unique part of RIDEYELLOW is the Unity Chain. Since the inception of RIDEYELLOW, participants have ridden in honor of loved ones who are battling cancer as well as in memory of loved ones who have lost the fight. In addition, many cancer survivors ride in celebration of beating this disease. More names are added to this list each year.
The Wednesday before the ride, volunteers gather and write every name submitted over the past 11 years on individual pieces of paper. Together, we make a paper chain out of the names and then place the chain in the Unity Chain Garden at Halliday Park on the morning of the ride. You may purchase a flag to honor or memorialize your loved one. We will display your flag every year. The price for a lifetime flag is $50.
