Delco Turkey Trot™ 2024

The Delco Turkey Trot™—the BIGGEST Thanksgiving Day 5k in Delaware County— is kicking off its 8th year on Thanksgiving morning: November 28th, 2024. This race benefits the Nether Providence Elementary School PTO in Wallingford, PA and all proceeds go right back to the students at NPE. 

This year we will offer a 5k Road Race and a 1 Mile Little Drumstick Run.  There is no option for virtual runners this year - if you still want to support NPE but can't attend the race, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate. This is a family friendly event and strollers are WELCOMED.  Please NO PETS on the course. 

Register BY 10/31 to guarantee a T-shirt (Youth and Adult Sizes Available).

Date - Thursday, November 28th  - Little Drumstick @ 8:30am & 5K Road Race @ 9 am.

Pricing: 8/6 - 9/30: Adults 13 and over - $25, Kids 12 and under - $15
             10/1 - 10/31: Adults 13 and over - $30, Kids 12 and under - $15 (LAST CHANCE to secure your shirt)
             11/1 - 11/23: Adults 13 and over - $35, Kids 12 and under $20 (NO SHIRT is guaranteed after 10/31)

**Please be aware there are NO REFUNDS and the race will take place rain or shine.  Registrants who have signed up before 10/31/24 who can no longer attend the live race but still want their shirts will need to coordinate with us BEFORE the race.*

Importmant Race Information

The Little Drumstick 1 Mile Run will begin promptly at 8:30am and the 5k Turkey Trot will begin promptly at 9am .  PLEASE PLAN accordingly with parking and picking up your bibs so you don't miss the start!

Race Bib Pick-up 

Bib pick-up will take place on WEDNESDAY, 11/27 at the following locations:
Bryn Mawr Running Company in Media: 11am-1pm
Ducklings Early Learning Center in Wallingford: 5pm-7pm

Or THURSDAY, race morning:
NPE: 7:30am-9am

For NPE families only: we will also have bibs available at evening conferences! 

RACE PARKING INFORMATION

Please arrive via Media Parkway or Georgetown Rd. as Moore Rd. will be barricaded for the race.
Parking will be limited at the school.  Limited overflow parking is available at Creekside Swim Club located half a block before the school on Moore Rd.
Parking on the street in non-race course areas is fine, but PLEASE be respectful of our neighbors.  No parking on grass or in front of driveways.
Carpool, walk, or be dropped off if possible!

Prizes - Overall male and female; 1st, 2nd, 3rd male and female in each category: 19 and under, 20-39, 40-59, 60+.
