FONDO CYCLING CIRCUIT USA - Akron OH

The Northeast Ohio city of Akron is the 4th stop in this year’s FCCUSA. It’s a region well known to cyclists, history buffs, foodies, music aficionados, nature lovers, sports fans and art enthusiasts. Positioned within a day’s drive of half of the nation’s population, Akron will attract cyclists from nearby Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Indianapolis, Detroit and other large regional markets. All event activities are held at Lock 3 in downtown, site of Akron’s biggest festivals and community events. During the ride you’ll experience the colorful scenic river valleys of the Cuyahoga and Tuscarawas and pass the beautifully preserved Ohio and Erie Canalway. Expect a few challenging hills to elevate your heart rate but expect some nice descents too!
