Pisgah 26.2 Adventure Race 2023

Welcome back to the longest running adventure race in North Carolina! That's right, we are giving you 26.2 hours of paddling, trekking and mountain biking in and around the mountains of the Lake James State Park to complete our course.

You're going to wanna train for this one. Just getting to the finish will be a win for some teams. Winning times have ranged from 18 hours to 22 hours with the majority of the field crossing the finish line around 25 hours. There is always a team or two who like to get their moneys worth of the clock...and hustle across the finish line just before the cut off.

This years version will contain a most picturesque rappel. Rock Dimensions will be back to be onsite and oversee the rappel.

We will be starting and finishing at the Paddy's Creek area of Lake James State Park.
