Detours / Road Closures / Parking Info
Please Arrive NO LATER than 8:15am. After this point road closures will have begun. It will start to become very difficult to navigate the area around Clinton Sq.
Parking: There is lots of FREE street parking available in downtown Syracuse (all meters are free on Sundays) and several empty parking lots just a few blocks from the start/finish. S. Salina St. and Clinton St. will be blocked off, but look all around the cross streets.
The "National Grid lot" run by the Downtown Committee of Syracuse. It will open at 7AM.
The "100 Clinton Square" lot run by JWP Commercial. It will open at 7AM.
The "Washington St. Garage" run by LAZ Parking. It will open at 6:30AM.

Detours / Road Closures: On the first Sunday in May, roughly 2500 athletes will be visiting our city. Over the course of 3 hours they will be racing throughout our community as they complete the 10-mile run. We ask for your cooperation and understanding on race day as you travel around town. The routes were chosen to highlight the various areas that we feel fully showcase the unique setting of Central New York. We appreciate your support and ask that you proceed with caution and allow for additional travel time to your destination.

Cars on Ohstrom Ave(Clarendon), Euclid trying to get to Routes 81 or 690:
Back up to Euclid Ave and drive away from the University campus
Take Euclid to Westcott
Left on Westcott to E. Genesee St.
Left on E. Genesee St
Right on Columbus Ave which becomes Teall Ave
Teall Ave to 690
NOTE: 690 West will take drivers to 81 South and 81 North
Similar route for cars at Thornden Park Beech/Cherry St. entrance:
Take Beech St to E. Genesee St
Take a right onto E. Genesee St
Take a left on Columbus Ave which becomes Teall Ave
