Race Rules

USA Cycling License Info:
- Expert and Intermediate (formerly Cat 1 and Cat 2) - an annual USA Cycling license is required to race. One-day license is not allowed in either category. USAC is offering a discounted license for new annual license holders. Go to https://usacycling.org/member and purchase an annual license.
- First Time members will pay $40 for their Membership ($20 if enrolling in auto-renew)
Add a Race License for $0 (FREE!)--Valid for 1st time Members only - Junior - purchase Membership for $40 ($20 if enrolling in auto-renew). Add a Race License for $0 (FREE!)—Valid for all domestic race license for members under 18 years old.
- Novice (Cat 3), Single Speed, E-bike and Clydesdale - for anyone who does not hold an annual USA Cycling license, a $15 one-day license fee is required to participate.
One-day licenses are purchased when registering on BikeReg
- Leave No Trace.
- All riders must display bike plate on front of handle bars
- At no time may a rider ride in or on a vehicle of any kind. Violators will be disqualified.
- If you get off the official course, you must return to the point at which you left the prescribed race route.
- Medical personnel, the race director, and designated staff have the right to pull a rider if they feel they are a danger to himself/herself.
- If you have to drop from the race, make sure that a race official is notified. Failure to do this could result in search and rescue, which could be at rider expense.
- Showers are available at the Iron Mountain boat dock area located next to the marina.
