Description
One of our favorite gravel routes because it is just so right. Only a couple of tough(ish) climbs but not boring and flat. Usually fast and somewhat smooth with lots of nice scenery but never very far from the next house. The course will be marked but we will still provide GPS files and free access to Ride With GPS premium app services if you don't have a dedicated GPS unit. Water tables will be spaced throughout the route but it is considered self supported with no SAG vehicles. You will have to make your own arrangements for a shuttle back to staging if unable to complete the route. No team cars/support allowed on course for the racers.
Club Spinistry members save $20!
This will be a Spinistry Safe Start event to meet an surpass any relevant Covid-19 safety guidelines. Start will be restricted to 10 participants or less. Zero Contact Check In for each wave will open 15 minutes prior to start time. On site podiums and awards are not viable because of the spacing between waves. Times from the different waves will be combined and posted the evening of the event.
No drafting! This is not a political statement. The reality is that some racers are not comfortable riding in close proximity with others at this time. We will be leveling the playing field by requiring all racers to log their times via individual effort without aero assistance from other riders. You are welcome to ride side by side with friends and family members who you are personally comfortable with (assuming they are comfortable with you as well). No wheel sucking allowed, even with permission from the other rider. Any racers who do not adhere to this requirement will be subject to having their times negated or penalized at the event organizers' discretion.
50K and 100K routes will be marked and there will be neutral water tables available along the route.
150K route is self navigated and there will be neutral water tables and a convenience store along the route.
Routes will be verified, finalized and made available to registered participants the week of the event.
