Description

Primos Dallas is hosting our 3rd Annual Run the Grove 5K on Saturday, April 5, 2025!  Our mentoring program serves families in the southeast Dallas area of Pleasant Grove and we are excited to bring a certified 5K race with official timing to the neighborhood. We will also have a Fun Run course, and family friendly activities, including free food, music, and games. 

Join us to raise scholarship funds for high school and college students. Since 2018, Primos has awarded $80,000 in scholarships.We aim to alleviate the burden of post high school educational costs for first generation students. 

5K: 

  • Timed and competitive
  • Begins at 8am

ALL 5K Participants will receive: 

  • a Run the Grove t-shirt (must register by April 1st to receive)
  • a completion medal
  • a free meal after the race (breakfast tacos and Mexican paleta) 
  • unlimited water
  • snacks
  • immediate race results
  • Prizes will be awarded to 1st place, 2nd, and 3rd in every age/sex category

3k Fun Run:

  • Dog friendly
  • Stroller friendly
  • Not timed
  • Begins at 9:30am

ALL 3K Participants will receive: 

  • a Run the Grove t-shirt
  • a free meal after the race (breakfast tacos and Mexican paleta)
  • unlimited water
  • snacks

Race Week Packet Pickup

Bib and Shirt Pickups will be available on the NEW Race day - April 26.

Please arrive early!

Parking

Parking will be located offsite

1)  Cathedral of Faith Baptist Church

2) Greater St. James Temple

Address: 200 N. Jim Miller Rd, Dallas, TX 75217

 - Parking attendants will direct participants. 

- A shuttle will take participants back and forth between the parking lot and the race trail. 

- WE WILL HAVE 2 SHUTTLES. 

- NO PARKING WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE TRAIL.
