JuneteenthGVL 5K Run Ride Recover for Veterans

In celebration of Juneteenth the City of Greenville is super excited about the wellness portion of this weekend's celebration, which is entitled Run/Ride/Recover!  This Juneteenth Wellness Celebration will be held the morning of Saturday, June 15th.   This year once again you have a couple of options as there will be a 5K Run or Walk, a 30 minute Cycling session, and a Yoga Class.  The 5K Run/Walk will start and finish by in front of Blues Boulevard (300 River St. Greenville, SC 29601) directly across from the Peace Center  Outdoor Stage, with the bulk of the route occurring on the Swamp Rabbit Trail.  The Cycling and Yoga sessions will take place Outdoors at Yee-Haw Brewing Company! 

• 5K starts at 7am (In Front of Blues Boulevard - Across from Peace Center Outdoor Stage)

• First cycling class starts at 9:00am (Yee-Haw Brewing Co.)

• Second cycling class starts at 10:00am (Yee-Haw Brewing Co.)

• Yoga session starts at 11:00am (Yee-Haw Brewing Co.)

All participants of the 5K and/or the Cycling session will receive a T-Shirt!  As you prepare to register please note that you have options to do the 5K only, a cycling class only, or you can do both the 5K and one of the cycling classes.  Please be sure to select the correct event. 

Proceeds for this Juneteenth Wellness event go to the Vernon Veteran Services organization, which is a non-profit 501c3 organization that supports our veterans.
