The Highs & Lows Tour is a single day cycling event with 4 different distances to choose from. This year all of the rides start and finish on the beautiful campus of Holderness School. From the mouth of the Pemi-Baker Valley we will ride through the Baker River Valley towns surrounded by beautiful New Hampshire mountains. For riders choosing the full century ride you will also be riding through the Connecticut River Valley and over Mount Cube for an epic adventure. Each of the 4 rides are well supported with SAG vehicles and organized rest stops with plenty of food and hydration.

Our Mission

The Highs & Lows Tour exists for three main objectives:

• To raise awareness of mental illness and suicide prevention
• To destigmatize mental illness
• To raise funds for NAMI NH (national alliance on mental illness)

Our team is focused on producing a high-quality event where friends and family get to do something fun and healthy while working to overcome the mental illness crisis. We hope you'll join us in making a difference and having a great time in the process.

Positive Tracks

Positive Tracks is an organization that teaches young people (ages 12-25) how they can use physical activity to actualize their vision for change they want to see in the world. They call it "Sweating for Good".

Their programming is entirely free and they offer personalized coaching and resources that create a unique pathway for anyone interested in social change. Their work with youth is through their Positive Tracks' Challenges program.

Here’s a summary of their program model below - including the resources they offer.

- Positive Tracks Partnership Model -

Ages 12 - 25 partner with Positive Tracks to build and lead a Challenge - an athletic event designed to champion a cause or organization that you choose. Everything they do is free and every Positive Tracks partnership includes personalized coaching. For example, they provide resources and support with cause advocacy, setting and executing goals, event planning, fundraising, marketing and outreach, discovering root cause and more.

Bonuses they provide:

·  $100 microgrant to get a project off the ground (if needed)

·  $100 fundraising match per Challenge Captain

·  Free event liability insurance (if needed)

·  Official community service hours confirmation letter

·  Official completion certificate in Athletic Activism for Community Impact & Mobilization

·  Amplification and sharing of events with the Positive Tracks audience through their socials, event calendar and newsletter

Here are a few examples of the type of events, but it can be anything that makes you happy. You can also use existing athletic events (like a spin class or a local charity 5K) as your physical activity if you don't want to create your own event:

·  Dance or roller skating

·  5K walk or run

·  Kickball or corn hole tournaments

·  3v3 soccer or basketball tournament

·  Workout circuit

·  Group Fitness Challenges - set a mileage, burpee, push up etc goal. You can ask for pledges for the activity or for others to join to help you reach the goal.

·  Solo Fitness Challenges: Mobilize your community by sharing that for every $1 your raise, you’ll do a squat (for example) to raise funds and awareness for a cause or issue you care about

Positive Tracks Challenges can be done anywhere and can include in-person and virtual elements. They can be done solo or with a committee. Positive Tracks hopes that this Sweat For Good pathway helps you advocate for changes you want to see in the world in a fun and healthy way.

To get started, fill out this application and then they’ll reach out to start their one-to-one coaching and partnership process. Check out their Help Center for more details.  https://app.positivetracks.org/help-center
