Description

Please join Montgomery Countryside Alliance on Sunday, September 15, 2024 for the 17th anniversary of the Montgomery County Farm Tour to benefit the Reserve and our quest to protect this special place. You’ll enjoy quiet roads, rural landscapes with views of Sugarloaf Mountain.

We are once again being hosted by Sugarloaf Citizens Association at historic Linden Farm (20900 Martinsburg Road, Dickerson, MD 20842) where routes of 6-62 miles over the Ag Reserve's rolling Rustic Roads will start and finish with our signature picnic.

Riders will choose among routes of around 6, 18, 25, 30+, 40, and 62  miles including quiet, rolling landscapes dotted with the Reserve’s orchards, red barns and silos. Many of the routes include views of Sugarloaf Mountain.  Beginners and experienced riders welcome!

Each ride includes a gourmet picnic boxed lunch at the finish at Linden Farm, and a pop-up Artisan and Farmers Market open to the public. There will also be food trucks with food and dessert options available for purchase.

Your participation helps MCA support local farms to strengthen the rural economy, grow the next generation of farmers, and advocate for thriving farms, abundant forests and clean waterways in Montgomery County.

Stay tuned for the Route Reveal.....
