Jumpstart January!

This isn’t your average 5K. Jumpstart January is a Walk, Bike, or Run event takes place where you are, when you want, anytime between January 1 – January 31. Walk, run, or bike solo or challenge a friend or family member to make it even more interesting! Log your distance online using data from your fitness device. 

Wish to compete in multiple events? Feel free to register for 1, 2 or 3 categories (bike, walk, run). Please note: the registration fee does apply for each entry.

Step 1: Sign up to either Run, Walk or Bike.

Step 2: Invite your friends, family, and colleagues to sign up, too.

Step 3: Track your miles and finish the challenge in four weeks. Walking the dog? Riding your bike? Taking the stairs at work? At the gym? On your Peloton or elliptical? Every step counts.

Step 4: Why not gather your compadres and form a "team"? See who can log the most miles among you. Do you need more incentive? Besides bragging rights, prizes will be awarded to the top three competitors who log the most miles in each of the three categories. The three winners will be announced and notified Monday, February 3rd.

Established in 1924, the St. Charles Women's Club has been a beacon of unity, resilience, and community for an entire century. As we commemorate our 100th anniversary, we invite you to be a part of our legacy! All proceeds will support our two community partners D303 United Special Olympics and the Ruth Project,  and our two Sherry Costello Scholarship Fund recipients.  We are a wonderful group of women who come together for fun, friendship and philanthropy. Join hands with us as we contribute to local charities, organize fundraisers, and champion causes that uplift and empower women.

T-shirts will be available for pickup on Monday, December 30th, 5-7 p.m. at Alter Brewing, 12 S. 1st St., St. Charles, IL. Stay and have a beverage or dinner – a portion of your spending that day goes back to the St. Charles Women’s Club! An additional shirt pick up day in January will be announced.
