Description
The Monarch Grind Is a gravel gran fondo that starts and ends near Clark Fork, Idaho. The 70-mile route is predominantly on U. S. Forest Service gravel roads and includes approximately 8,000 feet of elevation gain. The Monarch Grind is last leg of the Idaho Panhandle Gravel Series (IPGS). The Monarch Grind is a charity event proceeds of which are split between two non-profit entities, the Pend Oreille Pedalers and KRFY, Sandpoint's public radio station.
SCHEDULE
Tuesday, June 25 – Friday, June 28, 2024: Syringa Cyclery, 518 Oak Street, Sandpoint, Idaho
· 11:00AM-6:00PM: Registration/Packet Pick up
Saturday, June 29, 2024: Start/Finish area, Clark Fork, Idaho
· 6:30-7:30 AM: Last-minute Registration/Packet Pick up
· 7:45 AM: Pre-Ride Meeting
· 8:00 AM: Ride Starts
· 10:30 AM: Rider cut-off time at Johnson Saddle Aid Station. Riders not reaching this point by 10:30AM will be turned around back to the start without completing the ride.
· 2:00 PM: Awards – Prizes for top three men, women, and non-binary finishers, as well as top three men, women, and non-binary Idaho Panhandle Gravel Series finishers

BREAKING AWAY TICKETS
The Panida Theater will show a short film by Scott Rulander and the classic feature film, Breaking Away, on Friday September 8th. This event is a fundraiser for the Panida Theater and KRFY. There will be a drawing for an Otso Waheela carbon gravel bike during intermission. Refreshments will be available.
