NEW LOCATION - Lakes Regional Park
Join us for the 4th Annual - Run for the Youth 5K to benefit the Sheriff's Youth Activities League (Lee County, FL). We'll be running through the beautiful Lakes Park, conveniently located in the center of Lee County.
The Mission of SYAL is to unite the experience of Community Leaders with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office to provide safe and enriching programs for the youth in Lee County. SYAL’s vision is to connect the Lee County Sheriff’s Office in a series of supplemental programs to mentor and support local youth. The services provided by SYAL are more than just fun and games. These programs are organized, structured, and adult-supervised or coached. This provides excellent opportunities for adolescents to develop and grow to become civic-minded, productive adults and community leaders.

Race Start: 8:00am
Packet Pick-up & Registration: 7:00am (QR codes will be provide for Race Day registration. You must bring a phone to register.)

Lakes Regional Park is a 279-acre public park located along Gladiolus Drive just south of Fort Myers, Florida. It opened on April 21, 1984, and is operated by the Lee County Department of Parks and Recreation. The park was named after its main feature: 158 acres of man-made freshwater lakes.

CHIP TIMING
This event will be timed with the Bib Tag Technology. Your Timing Strip is attached to your race bib/number. Do not remove this tag, fold or wrinkle your race number. Do not cover your race number (Tag) with a jacket and Simply pin all four corners to the front of your bib/number below your waist in the front of your body.

DiamondHead Beach Resort Gift Certificate Raffle
Lee County Sheriff's Youth Activities League is raffling off TWO gift certificates for a stay at DiamondHead Beach Resort on beautiful Fort Myers Beach!
Each gift certificate is good for a 2 night stay in a 1 bedroom gulf view suite. Blackout dates apply, booking based on availability, not valid on holidays or special event dates.
Tickets can be purchased for 10.00 each or 3 for 25.00. Drawing will be held on March 1st, 2024. 2 winners will be determined using zeffy.com raffle website.
Gift certificates were generously donated which allows all proceeds from the raffle to go directly towards helping us to continue to fund outreach programs and assistance for children and families in Lee County!
