Ride Santa Barbara returns for its 13th year!

RideSB100 offers four distinct courses to suit a range of cycling abilities – each course offering a world-class Santa Barbara cycling experience! 🚵🏻‍♂️

All courses start along the beach and follow the beautiful Santa Barbara beachfront before turning inland to experience all Santa Barbara has to offer. Cyclists will wind through some of the most exclusive neighborhoods in the country; experience the rolling foothills lined with citrus and avocado orchards and climb some of the most famous mountains in the country, all while experiencing some of the most beautiful views in southern California.

All cyclists will receive:

  • Official 2024 RideSB100 t-shirt
  • Official 2024 RideSB100 water bottle
  • Official RideSB100 musette bag with sponsor goodies
  • Fully supported aid stations
  • Mechanical support
  • Finish Line Festival with lots of food and beer
  • All Gibraltar Challenge finishers will receive a coin at the top of the hill.
  • Age group medals for Gibraltar Challenge
  • Option to buy event Jersey $99; Bib Shorts $99
  • And more!

All riders will receive an overall chip time and riders who participate in the Gibraltar Challenge will be ranked for the King and Queen of the Mountain (KOM/QOM) Jersey awards!

100 mile 

The 100 mile course is one of the most beautiful and challenging 100 miles of riding you may ever accomplish!
Route highlights: scenic Casitas pass with views of the majestic Lake Casitas and nearly 1,200 ft. of climbing, Santa Barbara waterfront, the foothills of Carpinteria and Montecito, and the flatland’s of Goleta before finishing back at Chase Palm Park. Also, ride past the historic Old Mission Santa Barbara.
The 100 mile route will offer one timed climb segment with KOM/QOM jerseys awarded to the 1st place winner in each age group for their climb time!

100 km + Climb Challenge

62 miles of some of the most spectacular riding Santa Barbara has to offer. Also, ride past the historic Old Mission Santa Barbara.
Includes a timed hill climb segment up the famous Painted Cave Road  – with KOM/QOM jersey awarded to the 1st place winners in each age group!

Recommended for experienced cyclists - View Course

 

100 km Coastal Route - 4,000' of climbing

62 miles of some of the most spectacular riding Santa Barbara has to offer.
Intermediate to experienced level cyclists - View Course

 

34 miles - 2,200' of climbing 

Ride through some of the most exclusive neighborhoods in the country before turning inland to experience the back roads and rolling foothills of Santa Barbara with a few short climbs along the way.
Beginner to intermediate level cyclists - View Course

Ride to benefit MOVE Santa Barbara County! Help us raise needed donations and awareness for the great work they’re doing in Santa Barbara County. The mission of MOVE is to advocate for equitable county-wide infrastructure for walking, bicycling, and public transit and to empower and educate communities to choose active and sustainable forms of transportation. 

Refund Policy

All entry fees are NON-REFUNDABLE, no exceptions. Once we receive and accept your entry, you will not receive a refund if you cannot participate. You may do a one-time entry transfer to another event, person or year for $15.
