Description
Join us for the inaugural Canyon City Classic 5K/10K, Cutie Fun Run, & CommUNITY Festival! The Festival Includes various sampling and vendor booths, interactive experiences, and musical entertainment. Proceeds from the event will benefit Azusa’s youth sports programs and Azusa serving non-profit organizations.

Course Information
STARTING LINE
Runners are encouraged to begin lining up no later than 15 minutes prior to the start of the 5/10K Race, Family Fun 5/10K Walk & Stroller Roll or Kids 1k Run.
Line up according to your expected race pace. Faster runners should be positioned at the front of the start chute, while slower runners/walkers/ strollers start on the back. The goal is to have the start flow nice and safely. Remember you are being chip timed.
COURSE DESIGN |
Both 5K (3.1 miles) and 10K (6.2miles) run/walk events are flat and fast. Starts just across from Memorial Park on Orange Avenue. It takes you through tree lined streets, passes by the historic Zacatecas park, then returns on 1st Street onto North San Gabriel where you will have breathtaking views of the Azusa foothills. Finally, participants return on Angelino and finish back the corner Orange Avenue & Hollyvale Street. The 10K is a two loop course which covers the same route as the 5K. The Cutie 1K covers the perimeter of Memorial park and finishes in the same area.
RECOVERY WATER STATIONS |
Hydration will be available twice to the 5K participants and four drinking opportunities for the 10k. Electrolytes drinks will be at the finish line and on the course as well.
FIRST AID SUPPORT
We will have a roving first aid team available to cover the route. First aid station also available in the main expo area.
FINISH LINE CommUnity CELEBRATION
Located on the west side of Memorial park on Orange Avenue near the festival area. Participants will have access to a variety of vendors and sampling booths in conjunction with various entertainment.

Parking
Allow plenty of time to get to the registration area and pick up your bib & t-shirt. Arrive early and factor in traffic to ensure you make it to the start line on time.
There is plenty of parking around the park and in the neighboring streets. Limited parking next to the main venue on a first come first serve basis.
