Flow Friday MTB Ride
Place
Augusta, GA US 30901
Description
The trails and the taps will be flowing on Friday, November 8th at 6:00pm as Andy Jordan’s Bicycle Warehouse and Savannah River Brewing Co. work together and help our local trails!
Join the AJBW and SRBC crews for a night ride from the brewery down to the Augusta Canal Singletrack Trail for 2 laps of bunny hopping, chamois dropping fun! OK, so no chamois will actually be dropped until the ride is over!
The Augusta Canal Singletrack is the first trail that land managers allowed volunteer access for trail cleanup post Hurricane Helene. Thanks to SORBA-CSRA and their amazing volunteers, the 3 mile trail and all the jump lines are clear of debris and ready to shred!
Total ride is 15 miles and ride requirements are as follows:
-a mountain bike in good working order
-good set of lights (it will be extremely dark in the woods)
-helmet
-proper hydration and nutrition for the distance
-emergency bike repair kit
Upon returning to the brewery, SRBC will be tapping a fresh batch of Chamois Dropper beer and $1 from each beer sold will be donated to SORBA-CSRA courtesy of SRBC to assist in their 100+ mile trail cleanup efforts. Crowlers will be available to-go as well!
SRBC has plenty of non-alcoholic and snack options available for everyone too!
Chamois (pronounced "sha·mee") Dropper is a refreshing Cold IPA brewed in collaboration with Andy Jordan's Bicycle Warehouse and Savannah River Brewing Company. Citra and Mosaic hops provide big juicy tropical fruit flavor with a crisp thirst-quenching finish. This batch has a slightly lower ABV at 4.8%, making this IPA a perfect flavorful beverage post ride, run, or yard work!
Let's ride bikes, have fun, and help get our local trails back, together!
If you can't make the ride, but want to support the cause, come have a cold Chamois Dropper beer before it's gone!
