OTCC Tour de Swamp Bike Ride

The intermediate cyclist will enjoy this ride, which can be completed with a road bike or hybrid bike. The ride will take cyclists into the beautiful community of Waresboro, followed by several more miles of woods and farmland on scenic country roads.

The Metric Century ride is for the more advanced cyclist. This ride is a loop that starts out going in the opposite direction as the 16- and 35-mile routes. The first part of this ride will give cyclists a glimpse of the CSX Rice Yard on the edge of town, then will take them down many miles of scenic country roads, including a jaunt down Swamp Road, then back up to Manor, GA (33 miles). Flat roads comprise most of this ride. Cyclists will enjoy miles and miles of beautiful woods and farmland on this ride.

The Century ride is not for the faint of heart! This ride is most suitable for more serious, advanced cyclists. The first half of this ride follows the same route as the Metric Century ride, where cyclists will enjoy scenic country roads around Ware County. The last half of the ride will take cyclists on more country roads in Ware County, flanked by woods and farmland, where they will eventually be taken into the beautiful countryside. SAG rest stops will be provided for cyclists to re-fuel/re-group for the long ride.
