We are working closely with Missoula Mountain Bike Coalition. Formerly named "MTB Missoula." The Missoula Mountain Bike Coalition maintains and builds our trails in and around Missoula. They also put on the Bike Ball and Mullet Classic. They are a foundational piece to our endurance sports community. We'd like to raise money for their group. All donations from this page will be gathered and we will write a check at the end of the series to MMBC.
More about the organization:
Our Mission
To promote and create mountain biking opportunities in Missoula and surrounding areas through trail building, stewardship, advocacy, and outreach
Our Vision
We envision a Missoula where mountain bikers are the most thoughtful, informed, and engaged group of users on the trail. We envision a progressive, forward-looking trail system that connects western Montana communities; bike-specific trails on public land; and land management that embraces mountain biking as a trusted partner and valuable presence. We envision a future in which local leaders understand and invest in trails-based recreation, and where our work will provide benefits well beyond our membership. Quite simply, we envision a Missoula made better by trails.
Our Values
COMMUNITY
We create an inclusive social fabric that brings the mountain bike community together.
SERVICE
We serve our community by connecting and educating our membership while creating and maintaining our trail networks.
COLLABORATION
We collaborate to plan trails with land managers and other trail user groups to work towards achieving the community's vision of a comprehensive trail network.
EXPERTISE
We bring a history of successful trail project work, including navigation of the public processes required to build and maintain trails and the expertise necessary for fine-grained design and project management.
LONGEVITY
We are committed to building a solid foundation that fosters leadership, trust, and fiscal responsibility for the future.
