We’ll kick off at the Wellston Metro Station, riding along the beautiful St. Vincent Greenway to Gwen Giles Park, where we’ll celebrate the groundbreaking of the transformative Hodiamont Greenway. After the ceremony, we’ll continue our ride to Forest Park for the Earth Day Festival, a vibrant celebration of sustainability and environmental action.

Bring your bike, your friends, and your enthusiasm—we’ll provide the route, the camaraderie, and a chance to make a difference!

This ride is supported in part by Great Rivers Greenway through their Gateway Bike Plan initiative.

Registration is FREE. All ages are welcome, but children 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Must be able to ride a bike without training wheels at a moderate pace (8 - 10 mph). Class 1 & 2 e-bikes are welcome. No scooters.

Please carry at least one bottle of water and wear a helmet. We will have a technician present for minor technical issues, but it is best to be prepared with extra tires and a charged cell phone. It is good practice to do a quick safety check on your bike before any ride. Check out this video for instructions on how to perform ABC quick check.
