We need sponsors to help pay for the fee for insurance, timing, shirts and nutrition at the end of the event. We do hope that this is something that you might consider. We have three levels of sponsorship!!!! Our Gold sponsors will donate $500. Our silver sponsorship Is $250. Our bronze Sponsorship is $100.
For a summary our triathlon is a fundraiser for the Greencastle High School Girls Soccer Parent club. We are raising money for the 2024-2025 GHS Girls soccer season. Soccer helps to foster and develop athletic skills, a sense of citizenship, sportsmanship and fair play while promoting girls soccer. It also encourages team cooperation and spirit while advancing individual experience and ensures the girls can play soccer throughout their school years and beyond. By being part of a team and helping to contribute this helps our young ladies to prepare to enter life and be a functional part of society. Girls' soccer has been active in our community and the surrounding communities for years.
We are in search of sponsors to partner with our upcoming GHS Soccer Outdoor Triathlon. Our event begins at 8am on August 3rd at Greencastle Aquatic Center at Robe-Ann Park. This will be our 5th Outdoor Triathlon!! A triathlon asks the competitors to swim, bike, and run a short distance to finish. We will offer a Purple Sprint which is a 200 meter swim, 4 mile bike, 1 mile run/walk and a Silver Sprint which is a 400 meter swim, 8 mile bike, 2 mile run/walk.
This is a race for beginners. A person can try it and see if they like it. The short race is for the beginners and the longer course is maybe for the athletes who want to push themselves further. This year's race will have teams too. It means you could have one person swim, one person bike and one person run.
This event allows companies to encourage their employees to sign up and compete. How healthy is that?
