All proceeds of donations go to the Temecula Sunrise Rotary Foundation (501c3) to support a host of philanthropic programs such as:
SAFETY TOWN - This popular program is held in two 1 week summer sessions teaching safty education for children ages 5 to 8 years of age. It includes presentations from professionals in wtaer safety, fire department, police department, bike safety and even road safety is addressed at the conclusion of each session.
RYLA - Rotary Youth Leadership Awards is a three day camp held in mountains for 11th grade students to develop leadership and community service characteristics. Temecula Sunrise Rotary sponsors 12 local students to attend this camp.
SCHOLARSHIPS
READING LITERACY PROGRAM - Each year Temecula Sunrise Rotary donates funds for 3rd grade literacy programs to promote reading through the purchase of books. In 2023 the club donated $2,200 to 3 different Temecula Elemtary schools.
