YO! Coffee Drive Thru is a dream that grew out of more than 20 years pursuing the love of food and a need to share the discoveries that come along with cooking and experimentation. YO! Coffee's founder, Philly Phoodie (@phillyphoodie), has spent nearly all of his adult life seeking out new and exciting sandwich shops, cafes, restaurants, and coffee shops so that he could share his experiences with the public. As an aspiring food writer, he founded phillyphoodie.com in 2007 as a way to blog about mom-n-pop food-centered shops in the Philadelphia region, and beyond. For ten years, he and his wife photographed and wrote about food from all over the region, and throughout their national / international travels. Then the popularity of social media soared and Instagram became a more robust and more accessible platform to share the Philly Phoodie food/drink stories with the world. The phillyphoodie.com blog was maintained and it still lives on today as a record of Philly Phoodie's food & drink explorations.
