I am riding with a group of philly rowers and spirit keepers for Kevin Saint Clair. Kevin meant so much to so many. In his life, he played a vital role in countless lives and communities - he had a major impact in my life as I pursued rowing after college. In his passing, he has brought us all together. We are committed to remembering, honoring and 'paying his impact forward.'
Many of his friends, former rowers, and teammates will ride the 37th Annual Ben to the Shore as Team Kevin Saint Clair this July. You are welcome and encouraged to join us. All funds raised will help benefit Families Behind the Badge Children's Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit which Kevin and his family have long supported.
Under the banner Kevin for Goodworks, we look to emulate and increase the energy that Kevin brought to all facets of his life. And after the ride, with this motto, we will ride and row and walk and build and cheer and teach and reach into the communities that Kevin touched as well as our own to continue the Goodworks.
I am riding in memory of Kevin St. Clair, a good friend, mentor, and coach from my younger days. This fundraiser was important to Kevin, so many of his former athletes have created a team in Kevin's memory.
