Join Team Britzilla on September 21, 2024 as we raise our voices against ovarian and other gynecologic cancers in the Lowcountry by participating in the 1st annual Stronger Together 5k. This will be our 7th race, formerly the Teal Diva 5k, where Team Britzilla will honor Brittaini Faith Qadri while helping other families battling cancer. Our girl joined Jesus in 2018 after fighting so hard to stay with her babies and family. We hope to make a huge impact in her name, but if we only help one woman then our girl would be elated.
In 2024, it is estimated that over 22,000 women will be diagnosed with ovarian cancer and over 14,000 will die as a result of the disease. By participating or making a donation in support of our team, you help provide quality of life programming, community advocacy, and survivorship programs to cancer patients in our community.
So many of us have been touched by cancer in some way and this event provides a way for us to honor and remember loved ones that have faced or continue to face the disease.
