Chesed 24/7 is a wonderful nonprofit that provides a number of services to the Jewish community. One of their most well known programs is stocking kosher hospitality rooms in many local hospitals (Englewood, Columbia, Mt Sinai, Sloan Kettering, and Valley to name just a few...)
On a personal note, we are tremendously grateful to the snacks, meals, and Shabbat supplies that we used while at Englewood Hospital when bringing both Anna and Paul into this world. It was such a comfort to know that we had this resource.
