Despite the messaging that mainstream media floods the airwaves with, this is a great nation, even with it's flaws. Why else would people risk life and limb to get within our borders?
No matter your beliefs on "who built this country", it is an undeniable fact that this nation would not have made it this far if it weren't for those citizens who answered the call to join the Armed Services. Ironically, one of the greatest flaws of our government is the lack of support provided to Veterans.
Criticisms aside, a nation is NOT its government... a nation is its citizenry! As one of those citizens, I am asking YOU, my fellow citizen, to help me raise funds for homeless Veterans in Colorado.
When you give to Special Forces Foundation for this fundraiser, 100% of your donation goes directly to reaching the goal of feeding homeless Veterans in the state. There are over 1,000 Veterans without homes in Colorado and rent prices have soared beyond affordability for many. Fundraising is critically important to serve those that have served us.
The reality is, each service man or woman faces their own struggles coming back home. It’s crucial that community-based organizations and nonprofits such as ours leverage local networks and donors to help mitigate issues Veterans face after they return home from protecting our liberties and freedom.
Without the patriotism of our local community, the Special Forces Foundation would be unable to make as large of an impact. Our team of 100% volunteers appreciates any donation amount you are able to contribute to this cause.
