Join Me in Bringing Joy to Every Child! 🚲💫
Hey friends!
I'm excited to be part of the 2024 Santa Cruz Sunrise Rotary Ride - 27th Annual! From Thursday, September 26th to Saturday, September 28th, I’ll be riding 200 miles to support a cause that’s incredibly personal to me: building Treasure Cove, an inclusive playground at Jade Street Park for kids of all abilities.
As a parent, this hits close to home—literally. Our family lives near Jade Street Park, and we spend so much time there with our 3-year-old son, Arlo. He loves the park, and it’s become a cherished space for us. That’s why I’m so passionate about making it even better, ensuring that every child, regardless of ability, can experience the joy it brings.
Here’s why this project matters:
Every Child Deserves to Play: 1 in 10 children has a disability, yet most playgrounds aren’t accessible.
Promoting Joy and Inclusion: Treasure Cove will foster compassion and fun for all kids, offering spaces like the Climb and Slide Zone and Sensory Zone.
Community Access: Located in Jade Street Park, this playground will be easily accessible to families across the county.
Your support will also benefit other amazing organizations, including Skills of Life Café, The Teen Kitchen Project, and The Boys and Girls Clubs of Santa Cruz County!
