Old Fort Strong Endurance Festival

We have all seen pictures of the devastation hurricane has caused in western NC and its surrounding areas. Many of us love that area, its people, and simply amazing beauty of the mountains. Many of us also felt helpless and looked for ways to help the (long) recovery process this area will need. When I heard about an opportunity to be part of an event that focuses on the beautiful trails in western NC through the Old Fort Strong Endurance Festival, I did not hesitate to sign up. Old Fort, NC is an area that was particularly hard hit by the floods Helene caused. This event raises awareness and funding for the Old Fort Strong Fund, which aims to put money directly into the hands of Old Fort residents and businesses as they rebuild their homes and repair their businesses affected by Hurricane Helene. Due to the massive flooding that took place outside of historic flood zones, many homes did not have flood insurance to cover this cost.  

Help me in my effort to raise money for the Old Fort Strong Fund.  My goal is to raise $1,500 to help in this cause.  All donations will go directly to helping those in need in that community.
